This policy explains how our team checks official venue sources, maps, phone numbers, addresses and links before publishing convention center guides.
Why Verification Matters
Convention center visitors often make time-sensitive decisions. A wrong address can cause missed events. A broken ticket link can confuse attendees. An outdated phone number can waste planning time. A wrong loading dock note can affect exhibitors and vendors. Our verification policy is designed to reduce those risks by requiring manual review of core venue details.
Primary Sources We Prefer
- Official convention center websites.
- Official city, county, tourism or authority pages that manage the venue.
- Official event calendar, planner/RFP, exhibitor, vendor and accessibility pages.
- Official contact pages, directions pages and parking pages.
- Official social profiles only when they are linked from the venue’s website or clearly verified.
- Official ticketing pages linked from the venue or event organizer.
Sources We Treat Carefully
Search snippets, map listings, social posts, third-party event calendars, old PDFs, copied directories, ticket resale pages and travel blogs can help discover details, but they are not treated as final authority when an official venue source is available.
If a third-party source conflicts with an official venue website, the official source should control the information used in our guide.

Ongoing Link Monitoring
Venue websites change. Convention centers may redesign pages, change booking platforms, update event calendars, move PDFs, rename departments, switch parking providers or update official ticketing links. Our team monitors important links and manually revisits pages when a broken link, redirect, user report or official update is found.
We may replace a broken link, remove a link, add a caution note, update a phone number, rewrite a navigation step, or point users to a more reliable official source.
Testing Limits
We can test whether a public link opens and whether a public phone/address appears on an official page, but we cannot test private staff systems, paid ticket checkout, secure exhibitor portals, restricted booking platforms or emergency response procedures.
User Verification Still Required
Before traveling, booking, buying tickets, paying fees, shipping freight, setting up a booth or attending an event, visitors should verify final details through the official venue or event organizer.
