Parking reservation update: the official venue page now promotes ParkMobile online parking reservations. A reservation can reduce decision-making on arrival, but always match the lot to your event hall and verify the date/session you are buying.
Do not treat $23 as a universal New Orleans parking price. It is the current venue-published daily rate for its parking. Hotel garages, third-party lots, special arrangements and event-specific transportation can have different pricing.

Hilton Riverside and the convention campus: what “connected” really means
Hilton New Orleans Riverside is a separate hotel at Two Poydras Street. Hilton’s own site says Riverwalk Outlets is connected to the hotel. Hilton also has an events page specifically pairing the property with the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, which is why the two names often appear together in convention searches.

What should you not assume?

Remaining Porchside Performances: the venue’s free outdoor August concert series still has shows on Thursday, Aug. 20 (Rockin’ Dopsie & the Zydeco Twisters) and Thursday, Aug. 27 (Robin Barnes & the Fiya Birds), both scheduled for 5:30–7 p.m. at the Heritage Porch by Hall D overlooking Heritage Park.
