How to prepay for parking

  1. Confirm the date and concourse for your event.
  2. Open the official OCCC parking page.
  3. Select the official Prepay for Parking option.
  4. Choose the appropriate event or date, if available.
  5. Review price, taxes, entry instructions and any applicable vehicle restrictions.
  6. Complete payment and save your QR code or receipt.
  7. At arrival, follow event parking signs and present your code as instructed.

Three costly mistakes to avoid: Parking at West when your event is North/South; expecting cash payment; or assuming overnight parking is included with a conference ticket.

West, North & South Concourse: Which Entrance?

ConcourseWhere to go What to check
West 9800 International Drive West halls, W-numbered rooms, Chapin Theater or Valencia Ballroom.
North 9400 Universal Boulevard North halls NA/NB and N-numbered meeting rooms.
South 9899 International Drive South halls SA/SB and S-numbered meeting rooms.

The North and South concourses belong to the same main building complex. The West and North/South buildings are linked by the Oversight Pedestrian Bridge, which includes moving sidewalks. It is useful when an event spans both buildings, but allow additional walking time.

Example: Read the room code before entering

A room beginning with W generally points you toward the West Building. An N room points toward North, while S identifies South. Confirm the exact number and floor on your event agenda, because registration may be at a different location from your session.

Floor Plan and Building Layout

OCCC covers approximately 7 million square feet across its facilities. Its published venue information lists more than 2 million square feet of exhibition space. The size makes advance wayfinding particularly important.

West Building

Major exhibit halls, meeting rooms, Valencia Ballroom and the 2,643-seat Chapin Theater.

North/South Building

North and South exhibit halls, meeting rooms, registration areas and connecting public spaces.

AreaCommon floor use
North/South Level I Exhibit halls NA, NB, SA and SB; food service.
North/South Level II Registration areas and N2/S2 meeting rooms.
North/South Level III N3/S3 meeting rooms and destination lounges.
West Building Exhibit halls, meeting rooms, ballroom, theater and food service on multiple levels.

How to locate your hall

  1. Find the building and hall identifier on your conference confirmation.
  2. Check the official interactive floor plans.
  3. Select West or North/South.
  4. Locate the floor and room number, plus the nearest registration entrance.
  5. When onsite, follow the event-specific overhead signs.

Document reference: Official 34-page OCCC facility floor-plan PDF includes exhibit hall layouts, bridge locations and meeting-room diagrams.

Upcoming Events, Admission & Tickets

OCCC hosts exhibitions, conventions, professional conferences, sporting competitions and public shows. There is no single admission price or fixed public opening schedule for every event.

QuestionPractical answer
Can anyone enter? Depends on the event; some require registration, tickets or professional credentials.
Are events free? Some may be, while others charge admission.
Can tickets be bought onsite? Only if that event organizer permits onsite sales.
Where is registration? At the lobby or registration area specified by the show.
When do doors open? Check your event schedule rather than relying on general building hours.

How to find the correct event

  1. Open the official OCCC event calendar.
  2. Find your event by name or date.
  3. Confirm whether it is at the West, North or South Concourse.
  4. Open the organizer information for tickets, eligibility and registration.
  5. Save your event confirmation and the correct building address.

Visitor tip: Check your show information again 24–48 hours before arrival. Hall assignments, entrance instructions, registration times and parking arrangements may change.

Hotels Near the Convention Center

Hotel choice matters because the convention center has buildings on opposite sides of International Drive. A room near West may not be the most convenient location for a South Concourse event.

HotelLocation advantage
Hyatt Regency Orlando Near the West Building, with an enclosed pedestrian connection.
Rosen Plaza Hotel Convenient for the West Concourse, with a pedestrian skybridge connection.
Rosen Centre Hotel Near the convention center’s International Drive side, with a pedestrian bridge connection.
Hilton Orlando Convenient for the North/South Concourse area, with a pedestrian bridge connection.

How to choose a hotel

  1. Identify your event concourse before booking.
  2. Compare the hotel’s walking route to the correct registration entrance.
  3. Check whether a skybridge or event shuttle is available for your dates.
  4. Compare total costs, including parking, resort fees and taxes.
  5. Consider the cancellation deadline if your event dates might change.

A hotel being described as “near the convention center” does not necessarily mean its entrance is near your particular exhibit hall.
