Admissions & show access

Tickets, Prices, Registration & Opening Hours

There is no universal ticket price or single public opening time for every event at the Colorado Convention Center. A concert, private trade exhibition, business conference and consumer show can have completely different entry conditions.

Trade Conferences

Often require paid registration, industry credentials, membership or a conference badge.

Public Shows

May offer advance tickets, weekend passes, age-based prices or day-of admission.

Bellco Theatre Shows

Use theater-specific ticketing, performance times, seating arrangements and security procedures.

Ticket Purchase Checklist

  • Confirm the event’s actual organizer and date.
  • Check whether the event is public or credential-restricted.
  • Find the correct entrance and registration desk.
  • Review ticket-transfer, cancellation and refund rules.
  • Check permitted bags, outside food and re-entry policies.
  • Save the approved ticket barcode and required ID.
Ticket versus parking: An event admission ticket does not automatically include a parking space. The onsite garage is paid, with separate posted parking conditions.

Alternatives to the Onsite Garage

Colorado Convention Center Entrances & Drop-Off Locations

The most commonly used entrances are along 14th Street between Stout Street and California Street. Which doors are open can depend on the event, its registration configuration and temporary construction arrangements.

A Atrium

Associated with the 14th Street and California Street side.

Often used for registration, attendee access and conventions assigned to this area.

F Atrium

Associated with the 14th Street and Stout Street side.

Another commonly used attendee entrance and event registration point.

Bellco Theatre

Address: 1100 Stout Street.

Use your theater ticket and posted show instructions, which may differ from general conference entrances.

Passenger Drop-Off

The venue identifies a drop-off area just off Stout Street near Speer Boulevard for visitors who cannot comfortably walk long distances.

Accessibility consideration: Accessible garage spaces are available, but the venue warns that walking distances can still be significant. For visitors with restricted mobility, dropping off at an appropriate accessible location may be more practical than walking from a distant garage space.

Finding Your Assigned Door

  • Check whether your event uses A Atrium or F Atrium.
  • Identify your exhibition hall, ballroom or numbered meeting room.
  • Use marked public entrances rather than freight/loading doors.
  • Allow time for registration, badge printing and screening.
  • Follow venue staff instructions if expansion work changes pedestrian access.

Airport and public transit

Denver International Airport to Colorado Convention Center

Denver International Airport (DEN) is the major commercial airport serving Denver. Many visitors use RTD’s A Line rail connection to reach downtown, then continue from Union Station toward the convention center.

From DEN by Rail

  1. Follow signs to the airport rail station. Find RTD’s A Line departure area.
  2. Take the A Line toward Denver Union Station. Check the current schedule and airport fare.
  3. Arrive at Union Station. The convention center is not inside Union Station.
  4. Plan the final downtown connection. Use an operating bus, shuttle, light-rail route or another suitable transfer.
  5. Arrive at 700 14th Street. Follow your event’s instructions to the correct door.
Major RTD change for 2026–27: Beginning June 7, 2026, RTD suspended the D, H and L lines during downtown rail reconstruction, with changes expected through the first quarter of 2027. Temporary C and T line operations affect downtown connections. Do not rely on older maps showing normal light-rail stops at the convention center.

Is Theatre District–Convention Center Station Operating Normally?

Downtown light-rail construction can affect which trains serve the convention district. Before leaving, use RTD’s live trip planner to check your actual line, accessible stop and connection.

Taxi, Rideshare & Rental Cars

Taxi or Rideshare

Convenient with heavy luggage or when downtown rail connections are disrupted. Enter the venue’s full 700 14th Street address and use your driver app’s approved pickup locations.

Rental Car

Worth considering for travel outside Denver, mountain trips or multiple destinations. For a downtown-only stay, compare rental fees with parking and available transit.

Regional Travel Tips

  • Check RTD service alerts on the same day you travel.
  • Review the final downtown station or bus stop, not only the airport line.
  • Allow additional time during large conventions and sports events.
  • Check snow, ice and cold-weather conditions during winter.
  • Confirm the last practical return service for evening events.
