Gaylord Opryland Convention Center Map: Find Your Room, Entrance & Floor

Gaylord Opryland is a huge resort with gardens, multiple hotel sections, ballrooms, exhibition halls, mezzanines and separate event spaces. A street map gets you to the property, but it does not tell you where your conference room is.

What Your Navigation App Can Do

A Google Maps search takes you to the resort property. It cannot reliably direct you to a precise Ryman hall, meeting room, ballroom or mezzanine section inside the convention complex.

Once parked or dropped off, switch to the resort PDF and your event’s indoor route information.

Open driving directions to 2800 Opryland Drive.

Do not mix up Nashville venues: Music City Center is the downtown convention facility. Its address is 201 Rep. John Lewis Way South, not Opryland Drive. If your event names the downtown location, use our Nashville convention center map and visitor guide instead.

Two separate maps are useful: one identifies the whole resort and its entrances, while the other provides detailed convention floors, meeting rooms and exhibition areas.

How to Save and Use the Maps on Your Phone

  1. Open the convention-center PDF. Use the first download link above.
  2. Find the meeting-space overview. Identify your event’s ballroom, hall or room name.
  3. Note the level and elevator. Record Level 0, Level 2 or Level M and the matching elevator zone.
  4. Open the whole resort map. Match the section name to your entrance or hotel room.
  5. Save both PDF files. Use your phone browser’s download or share/save option for offline reference.
  6. Screenshot the relevant map area. Save the portion showing your room, elevator and registration entrance.
Map-date reminder: Resort PDF maps can remain useful even when individual restaurants, activities or event-room configurations change. If your organizer provides a newer event-specific floor plan, use that version for registration, room partitions and restricted areas.

Gaylord Opryland Convention Center Floor Levels Explained

Marriott’s meeting-space map groups conference facilities by location and floor. The most important distinction is between Level 0 exhibition space, Level 2 ballrooms and Level M mezzanines.

LEVEL 0 Ryman Exhibition Level Lower convention floor

Ryman Exhibit Halls, Ryman Ballroom and Ryman Studio meeting rooms.

LEVEL 2 Main Ballroom Level Major convention sessions

Tennessee, Volunteer, Davidson and Delta Ballroom areas.

LEVEL M Mezzanine Level Smaller meeting rooms

Jackson, Lincoln, Bayou, Canal, Belle Meade, Belmont, Cheekwood and related meeting areas.

Floor and elevator labels are based on Marriott’s published meeting guide and resort maps. Event partitions, registration areas and the best walking route may change.

Important map trap: Marriott’s isometric map explicitly marks some areas as “Does Not Connect.” Just because two rooms appear at the same level does not mean there is a direct hallway between them. Follow the correct elevator bank and the route shown on the official map.

Gaylord Opryland Room Finder: Where Should You Go?

Use the full room name on your event badge or meeting agenda. The examples below help you decide which area to find first.

The Ryman Naming Confusion

Ryman Exhibit Hall, Ryman Ballroom and Ryman Studios are different facilities within the convention complex. The name “Ryman” also appears in Nashville’s famous Ryman Auditorium, which is a separate venue downtown.

Example: If your badge says “Ryman Hall C2,” go toward the lower exhibition level and Delta-side hall signage. Do not navigate to the Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville.

What if You Cannot Find Your Room?

  1. Read the full room name again. Include its letter and number.
  2. Confirm the level. Look up 0, 2 or M in the table above.
  3. Locate the proper elevator bank. Identify P1, D4 or M2 where applicable.
  4. Look for event registration signs. Registration may be in a different lobby from your session.
  5. Ask resort staff using the exact room name. Avoid asking only for “the conference area.”

Elevator Map: P1, D4, M2 & Other Resort Lift Codes

Elevator codes are more helpful than generic directions such as “go upstairs.” Marriott’s conference map uses several elevator references that distinguish sections of the building.

P1 Elevator Zone

Presidential / Tennessee Side

Useful for many Ryman B, Ryman Ballroom, Tennessee Ballroom and Presidential/Volunteer Mezzanine destinations.

Check the actual PDF for the room’s floor before entering the elevator.

D4 Elevator Zone

Delta Convention Side

Useful for the Delta Ballroom, Bayou and Canal mezzanine rooms and Ryman Exhibit Hall C sections.

The map identifies different Delta convention levels around D4.

M2 Elevator Zone

Magnolia Mezzanine

Useful for Belle Meade, Belmont, Cheekwood and other Magnolia meeting rooms.

The Magnolia mezzanine has a separate relationship to the main convention maps, so follow the published connecting route.

D5 / Other Codes

Delta Island & Resort Areas

The resort map includes additional elevator and navigation codes serving guest rooms, atriums and Delta Island.

For Delta Island meeting rooms, use the Delta Island route identified on the detailed resort map.

Accessibility tip: Prefer the elevator and accessible-path symbols on the resort map. Some escalators and stairs appear visually shorter but are not suitable for wheelchairs, strollers or heavy luggage.

Which Gaylord Opryland Convention Center Entrance Should You Use?

The resort has multiple arrival points and porticos. The best entrance depends on your assigned meeting room, parking location and event instructions.

Resort Entrance or AreaWhat It ServesVisitor Advice
Presidential PorticoPresidential/Tennessee convention areasPotentially convenient for P1-linked meeting destinations.
Magnolia Portico / CanopyMagnolia resort and mezzanine areasUseful when assigned to Magnolia meeting rooms.

Cascades PorticoCascades Lobby, resort facilities and guest check-inCommon hotel arrival point, not necessarily nearest to every event hall.
Gaylord Opryland Events CenterSeparate event buildingVerify event registration and walking route; not the same as Ryman halls.
Do not guess the event entrance: The map shows porticos and resort zones, not one universal entrance for all conferences. Your organizer may designate a separate registration, shuttle drop-off or accessible entry point.

Arrival Steps for First-Time Conference Guests

  1. Save the resort address. 2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville.
  2. Check your event instructions. Find the exact conference registration location.
  3. Identify the closest named portico. Match it to the whole resort map.
  4. Park or use the designated drop-off point.
  5. Navigate to the correct section. Follow the room and elevator information rather than simply “Convention Center.”
  6. Locate your assigned meeting floor. Level 0, 2 or M.

How to Read Gaylord Opryland Hotel Room Numbers

Some resort maps show a guestroom code with a section letter. For example, a room designation beginning with C can identify Cascades, while D, G and M identify Delta, Garden and Magnolia in the illustrated room-number legend.

Use the full room number and current hotel directory. These hotel guestroom codes are not the same as meeting-room identifiers such as Ryman C2 or Canal E.

Accessible Routes, Wheelchairs & Mobility Planning

Marriott’s maps identify accessible routes, lifts, elevators and other resort navigation facilities. Because the complex is large, the shortest-looking map route may not be the most accessible one.

Accessibility Features

  • Accessible on-site parking and van spaces.
  • Accessible routes to public meeting areas.
  • Elevators and lifts shown on resort maps.
  • Accessible guest accommodation options.
  • Accessible restaurants and on-site facilities.
  • Service animals accepted under applicable policy.

How to Plan a Suitable Route

  1. Identify your meeting room and section.
  2. Find its assigned level.
  3. Use the accessibility symbols on the whole resort PDF.
  4. Confirm the correct elevator bank.
  5. Ask the hotel about any additional physical-access requirements.
Accessible does not always mean nearby: An accessible route between two distant meeting areas may take longer than expected. Conference attendees with mobility needs should ask the organizer about room changes and session transitions.
