Arrival and orientation

Moscone South Address, Entrance & Map

For general navigation, the Moscone Center publishes 747 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. That is also the administrative office address. Event-specific South registration doors may differ from the main administrative entrance.

Moscone South

South of Howard Street near Third Street, adjacent to Yerba Buena Gardens and the rest of the Moscone Center campus.

Typical uses: Halls A–C, ballrooms, breakout rooms, registration and South lobby areas.

North and West

Moscone North is across Howard Street and connected to the South complex. Moscone West is at 800 Howard Street, at Fourth and Howard.

If your badge says Moscone West, do not automatically join the Moscone South check-in line.

The map shows the general building location. Entrances, temporary barriers and registration areas can change for each event.

Moscone South Parking, BART & Airport Connections

Parking Garage Planning

Nearby Public Garages

The area around Moscone Center and Yerba Buena Gardens has off-site parking options, including municipal and privately operated facilities.

Compare walking distance, published rates, closing times, height limits and event-specific restrictions before choosing one.

What Parking May Cost

There is no verified universal daily Moscone South parking fee. Garage charges can vary based on weekday, duration, special events, reservations and overnight parking.

Check the operator’s displayed price for your date rather than relying on old search snippets.

Save the Moscone South entrance.

Start with your event’s building and room, not an assumed garage.

Compare nearby parking choices.

Check official city parking listings or a garage operator for opening hours, rates, and maximum vehicle height.

Check for downtown restrictions.

Conferences can cause loading zones, curbside pickup areas and nearby streets to be temporarily restricted.

Allow enough time to walk.

Garage exits may be several blocks from badge pickup. Build in additional walking and security time.

Airport travelers: BART can be convenient from SFO, but do not treat train service as available at every hour. Verify the actual schedule for very early or late flights, and plan luggage handling before deciding to walk from Montgomery Station.

Five Steps Before Shipping Booth Material

Identify the exhibiting company and booth.

Save the exact official event name, hall assignment and booth number.

Read the exhibitor service manual.

Find advance warehouse options, direct-to-show delivery dates and freight service contacts.

Book required labor and services.

Check electrical, audiovisual, internet, rigging and assembly requirements.

Confirm truck and dock instructions.

Have shipping labels, pickup documents and deadlines ready before the exhibition closes.

Professional event planning

Booking Moscone South for Meetings or Conventions

Organizations planning conferences, exhibitions or citywide meetings should contact the San Francisco Travel convention sales team rather than assuming that a vacant date on a public calendar is available for rental.

Estimate attendance and room requirements.

Determine exhibit-floor size, expected booth count, keynote seating, breakouts and sponsor or hospitality space.

Prepare possible event dates.

Include move-in, rehearsal, event and move-out days, not just public opening dates.

Identify appropriate spaces.

Compare Halls ABC, Esplanade Ballroom, San Francisco Ballroom and meeting-room options.

Contact convention sales.

Email Convention-Sales@sftravel.com with your group needs and preferred dates.

Review operational requirements.

Ask about service providers, insurance, catering, fire regulations, AV, temporary structures, labor and freight.

Obtain a written proposal.

Confirm charges and availability through the official booking process before promoting or selling event space.

Floor-plan caution: Moscone’s official documents state that capacities and dimensions must be checked for the actual event configuration. Fire marshal approval, seating, AV and temporary construction can reduce usable capacity.
