Find Your OCCC Building, Event Entrance & Best Arrival Route
Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is a major convention venue in Orlando’s International Drive district. It has separate West and North-South complexes, so the correct hall and registration point matter more than simply entering “Orlando Convention Center” in a map.
This guide helps you choose the correct address, understand event parking and cashless payment, use nearby transportation, compare connected hotels, find meeting rooms and prepare for the 2026 construction changes.
Which Orange County Convention Center Address Should You Use?
OCCC publishes three directional addresses. North and South are parts of the larger North-South Building, while the West Building is a separate major complex.
| Visitor Situation | Best First Choice |
|---|---|
| Ticket says West Hall D or E | West Building, 9800 International Drive |
| Badge says North Hall A | North Concourse, 9400 Universal Boulevard |
| Session is in South Hall B | South Concourse, 9899 International Drive |
| Organizer only gives “OCCC” | Find the building, hall and registration lobby before choosing GPS. |

Orange County Convention Center Events: October–November 2026
OCCC hosts industry conferences, trade shows, meetings, consumer exhibitions and competitions. Its official calendar identifies the building, but organizers manage admission, badge pickup, daily hours and ticket prices.
Selected listings from the official event calendar, reviewed October 15, 2026. Dates and building assignments are subject to organizer and venue changes.
How to Find Your Ticket, Badge or Registration
- Match the event name and date. Verify the correct edition, especially when an event returns to Orlando annually.
- Identify the West, North or South Building. Write down the exact hall or registration location.
- Check public versus industry entry. Some shows require trade credentials or advance registration.
- Review organizer policies. Confirm show hours, ticket price, ID, bag rules, re-entry, age restrictions and refund terms.
- Complete the official final action. Purchase admission or register through the organizer’s authorized ticket system.
OCCC Parking: Prices, Lots, Payment & Prepaid QR Codes
OCCC operates parking at the West and North-South Buildings and may also use the Destination Parkway Garage. The current official parking policy does not give one fixed rate for every event. Prices depend on vehicle size, entry time and the event.
West Building Parking
West events generally use the West-side parking areas. Approaches include Exhibit Drive, Convention Way on the West side and West Entrance Drive from Westwood Boulevard, subject to live event routing.
North-South Parking
North and South parking entrances are associated with Universal Boulevard and International Drive. Follow the electronic signs because construction and show operations can modify access.
Destination Parkway Garage
Additional parking may operate during selected events. Event-dependent shuttle service can connect parking areas with the active convention buildings.
Prepaid Parking
The venue offers an official prepaid parking option. A QR code is used for the applicable transaction; save it before arrival and follow the assigned lot rules.
Published Parking Rules
| Item | Current Official Policy |
|---|---|
| Standard parking price | Variable by vehicle size, entry time and event. Check the current prepaid offer or on-site pricing. |
| Accepted payments | Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay and Google Pay. |
| Cash payment | OCCC states that its parking is cashless. |
| Availability | First-come, first-served, subject to assigned event areas. |
| Overnight parking | Not permitted at OCCC. |
| Refunds | The parking policy states that all sales are final. |
| Parking support | Parking@occc.net or (407) 685-5825. |
How to Prepay for OCCC Parking
- Confirm your event’s building. A West Building ticket does not automatically mean North-South is your best lot.
- Open the official parking page. Select the venue’s Prepay for Parking option.
- Review the available product. Match the date, location, vehicle type, price and purchase terms.
- Complete payment. Use the payment method accepted by the parking system.
- Save the QR code. Keep the confirmation available offline for entry or validation.
- Follow live signs. Roadside messages and event instructions determine the correct parking entrance.
Driving, Orlando Airport & Rideshare Directions
The convention center is near State Road 528, Interstate 4, International Drive and Universal Boulevard. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is approximately 12 miles from OCCC according to the venue’s own FAQ.
From Orlando International Airport
- Confirm your destination building. Select West, North or South before ordering a ride or driving.
- Choose transportation. Taxi, rideshare, rental car and LYNX public bus are possible options.
- If driving, use SR 528. OCCC’s published general approach uses SR 528 Exit 1 toward International Drive.
- Follow event-specific directional signs. Do not force an old saved route through a temporary construction closure.
- Continue to your registration area. The building entrance and event hall may be some distance apart.
Rideshare Pickup and Drop-Off
OCCC coordinates designated rideshare pickup points for Uber and Lyft. The app may assign a pickup area according to your location on the campus. Follow the app’s indicated meeting point and venue signs.
What About Airport Taxi Prices?
OCCC’s transportation page has published approximate MCO taxi fares around $45–$50. This is only an indicative historic venue estimate, not a guaranteed current quote. Traffic, vehicle size, tolls and provider rules affect the actual charge.
I-RIDE Trolley, LYNX Buses & Getting Around International Drive
I-RIDE Trolley
Serves the International Drive resort corridor with stops near the West and North-South Buildings. Useful for local dining, shopping and hotel-area trips. It is a paid transportation service, not a free convention admission benefit.
LYNX Public Bus
The regional public bus network connects the convention district with Orlando Airport, Downtown Orlando and other destinations. Exact routes, stop locations, fares and schedules depend on your journey.
Using Transit From the Airport
LYNX’s May 2026 schedule identifies Link 311 as serving Orlando International Airport, Destination Parkway and International Drive near OCCC. It also lists connections with Disney Springs and other Central Florida destinations.
- Start with your arrival point. Confirm the correct MCO ground-transportation area.
- Search LYNX for OCCC or Destination Parkway. Check Link 311 and any service changes for your date.
- Identify the correct stop. A bus stop in the district is not necessarily at your exact hall entrance.
- Check the return trip. Late evening and weekend services may have different schedules.
OCCC Floor Plans: West, North-South, Ballrooms & Meeting Rooms
The approximately 7-million-square-foot OCCC campus contains around 2.05 million square feet of exhibition space. The current North-South exhibit-space figure is approximately 950,282 square feet. The event layout can be much smaller than the building’s maximum capacity.
West Building
West exhibition halls A–F, Chapin Theater, Valencia Ballroom, Tangerine Ballroom and many meeting areas. The exact space and level should be taken from your organizer’s floor plan.
North-South Building
North and South exhibition halls, meeting rooms and multi-level concourses. North and South are separate arrival sides within one larger complex.
Floor Plan Documents: What Each One Solves
| Official Resource | Best Use |
|---|---|
| Full Facility Floor Plan | Locate the two large complexes, pedestrian connections and venue-level orientation. |
| West Building Floor Plan Book | Match West exhibit halls, meeting-room levels, ballrooms and lobby areas. |
| North-South Floor Plan Book | Find North or South halls, meeting rooms and level-specific arrangements. |
| Accessibility Areas – West Building | Plan an appropriate West Building access route and support requests. |
| Convention District Connectivity Map | Compare hotels, pedestrian bridges, parking and venue buildings. |
How to Read an OCCC Hall or Room Assignment
- Read the building indicator. West, North or South comes before the room number in importance.
- Find the hall letter. Match the assignment to the corresponding exhibit hall or ballroom.
- Check the floor or level. Meeting rooms and registration may be above or below the main exhibit level.
- Find the nearest entry or hotel bridge. A venue may be walkable but still require a substantial internal walk.
- Save the map. Keep a screenshot or downloaded floor-plan page for your event day.
Hotels Connected to Orange County Convention Center
OCCC identifies four hotels served by its five pedestrian bridges. Selecting a connected hotel can reduce outdoor street crossings, but the bridge must be matched to your actual event hall.
| Hotel | Connection | Best Planning Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Hyatt Regency Orlando | Connected with the West and North-South district through pedestrian-bridge routes. | Compare the bridge and room-side route with your particular hall. |
| Rosen Plaza Hotel | West Building skywalk near Hall F. | Convenient for relevant West events; check registration location. |
| Rosen Centre Hotel | West Building skywalk near Hall A. | Compare parking, room price and West-side event access. |
| Hilton Orlando | Pedestrian bridge to South Concourse. | Particularly helpful for South events; North or West sessions may require more walking. |
Other Hotels in the International Drive District
Additional hotel choices include Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando International Drive Convention Center, Hampton Inn Orlando International Drive Convention Center, Homewood Suites, SpringHill Suites, and Residence Inn properties in the area.
These alternatives should not be described as having a direct covered bridge unless their individual connection has been confirmed.
How to Compare Your Real Hotel Cost
- Nightly room rate plus required taxes and hotel fees.
- Hotel self-parking or valet, which is separate from OCCC event parking.
- Breakfast availability and first-session timing.
- Walking route to your event’s exact registration hall.
- Conference room-block rate and its booking deadline.
- Cancellation terms, luggage storage and checkout time.
If you’re comparing an alternative Orlando-area event-and-hotel property rather than staying near OCCC, see our Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center visitor guide. Gaylord Palms is in Kissimmee and is not connected to OCCC.
For the separate resort’s detailed overnight cost, self-parking, valet and resort-fee considerations, use the Gaylord Palms Orlando parking and resort-fee guide before comparing event packages.
2026 Construction: What Is Changing at OCCC?
OCCC’s $560-million Grand Concourse project is focused on the North-South Building. The expansion is planned to add approximately 44,000 square feet of meeting space and a 100,000-square-foot ballroom.
| Project | Published Timing | Visitor Impact |
|---|---|---|
| Grand Concourse expansion | Active 2026 construction project | Convention Way routing and the North-South approach may change. |
| North-South meeting-room renovations | April 2025 to anticipated May 2029 | Some room assignments and access arrangements may be affected in phases. |
| North-South restroom renovations | Anticipated August 2026 to August 2030 | Restroom locations may change as areas are renovated. |
| Exterior drainage improvements | August 2026 to April 2027 | Localized entrance and pedestrian work around North-South. |
| West Hall A/B expansion-joint work | November 2025 to December 2026 | Follow organizer directions for any affected West Hall areas. |
This work does not mean the entire convention center is closed. OCCC continues to host events throughout the campus, with organizer and building-specific routing remaining important.
