Seattle Convention Center Arch: Find the Right Entrance, Parking and Event Hall
Heading to a conference, exhibition or meeting at Seattle Convention Center’s Arch building? Find the correct Pike Street entrance, current published parking charges, garage addresses, transit directions, floor layout and accessibility information before you leave.
Arch Address, Entrance and Drop-off Locations
The original Seattle Convention Center Arch building is located at 705 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101, in downtown Seattle. The main pedestrian entrance is at the corner of Seventh Avenue and Pike Street.
| Where you need to go | Correct location |
|---|---|
| Arch main entrance | 705 Pike Street, at 7th Avenue |
| Arch at 800 Pike | 800 Pike Street; additional conference facilities |
| Rideshare / passenger drop-off | 725 Pike Street |
| Bus drop-off | 800 Convention Place |
| Arch parking garage | 1400 8th Avenue |
| Freeway Park Garage | 1267 Hubbell Place |
| Summit, a different building | 900 Pine Street; main entrance at 9th Avenue and Pine |
For rideshare, enter 725 Pike Street when directed to the designated Arch passenger drop-off. If you are driving into the parking garage, use its separate 1400 8th Avenue address instead.
Arch vs. Summit: Which Convention Center Building Do You Need?
Arch — 705 / 800 Pike
The original convention venue, with exhibition halls, ballrooms, meeting rooms and a covered skybridge linking its 705 and 800 Pike facilities.
Main entrance: 7th Avenue and Pike Street.
Best choice: Only when your event confirmation identifies Arch.
Summit — 900 Pine
A separate, newer event building that opened in 2023. It includes exhibition spaces, meeting rooms, a large ballroom and its own garage.
Main entrance: 9th Avenue and Pine Street.
Best choice: When your event lists Summit as the venue.
Arch and Summit are approximately one to one-and-a-half downtown blocks apart, depending on your route and chosen entrances. Do not assume that a skybridge connects the two separate buildings.
The Arch skybridge connects its 705 Pike and 800 Pike components, not Arch directly to Summit.
Seattle Convention Center Arch Parking: Rates, Hours and How to Pay

How to Park and Pay
- Navigate to the garage entrance. For Arch, use 1400 8th Avenue—not 705 Pike Street.
- Check vehicle height. The Arch Garage has a 6-foot-5-inch entrance clearance.
- Collect your ticket. Keep the parking ticket with you after parking.
- Attend your event. Follow signs from the attached parking structure to Arch.
- Pay before returning to the car. Use an automated payment station, including the Level 3 Arch garage parking entrance station. Major credit cards are accepted.
- Exit with your validated ticket. Scan it at the exit gate; press the intercom if assistance is required.

Monthly Parking
| Parking pass | Published monthly price |
|---|---|
| Arch Garage — assigned space | $285 |
| Arch Garage — unassigned space | $260 |
| Freeway Park Garage | $235 |
Monthly parking has additional eligibility, access-card and cancellation conditions. The convention center publishes a $15 non-refundable setup fee for the access card and requires advance cancellation notice.
For occasional conference attendees, standard daily parking is generally more relevant than a monthly arrangement.
Getting to Arch by Light Rail, Airport Transit or Rideshare
From Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
Seattle Convention Center lists Link light rail as a practical way to travel between SEA Airport and downtown Seattle. Westlake Station is a convenient downtown stop for Arch.
- After baggage claim, follow the airport signs to the Link light rail station.
- Choose a northbound train serving downtown Seattle and Westlake Station.
- Check the current service map, train destination and fare before boarding.
- Exit at Westlake Station in downtown Seattle.
- Use pedestrian directions to 7th Avenue and Pike Street.
- Enter the Arch building through its main pedestrian entrance, unless your event organizer specifies another door.
The convention center’s transportation guide estimates approximately 40 minutes between SEA Airport and Westlake Station on Link light rail. Actual travel time, train frequency and fare depend on the service in operation.
| Transport option | Useful details |
|---|---|
| Link light rail | Airport and regional service to downtown Westlake Station. |
| King County Metro | Bus connections throughout Seattle and nearby communities. |
| Rideshare / taxi | Arch passenger drop-off: 725 Pike Street. |

For current train routes, platform notices and fares, use Sound Transit. For public buses, visit King County Metro.
Airport rail hours and prices change, so do not rely on a historic timetable when arriving late at night.

Alternative Accessible Parking at Freeway Park Garage
Freeway Park Garage lists 16 ADA-compliant parking spaces, four on each level, near elevators.
For wheelchair access, use the garage elevator to PARK Level, then follow the route across Freeway Park Plaza to the Level 4 entrance of the convention center.
This plaza section is uncovered and exposed to the weather.
If you need a specific accessible entrance, communication accommodation or event-area access arrangement, contact the organizer or convention center before the event rather than assuming every entrance will be staffed.
Venue phone: 206-694-5000.
Wi-Fi, Food, Visitor Services and Facilities Inside Arch
Free Public Wi-Fi
The convention center provides complimentary public Wi-Fi suitable for basic browsing, messaging, email and social media.
The published complimentary service is 1 Mbps per connection. Event-specific paid connectivity or production-grade internet is a separate consideration.

Arch’s publicly listed food options include Espresso Caffé Dior, Pike Heat and Taco Del Mar, with other nearby dining options.
Individual outlet opening times may depend on operating schedules and convention demand.

A FedEx Office location is listed at Arch, 705 Pike, Level 1, providing printing, shipping and document services.
Business center phone: 206-467-1767.
Visitor Information
Visit Seattle lists a visitor information point in the upper Pike Street lobby near Seventh Avenue.
Availability is connected to meetings and events; do not assume continuous public staffing.
Can You Visit Arch Without Attending an Event?
The venue lists normal public-area hours from 6 AM to 8 PM daily, but public access and event-specific access are not the same thing. Private rooms, exhibit halls and ticketed spaces may be closed outside authorized event activity.
Some public art and public areas may be accessible during building hours. For travelers who want a closer look at the facility, the convention center also offers virtual tours and periodic guided tours.
Guided tour availability is limited, and registration is required for scheduled tours.
How to Find Arch Events, Tickets and Entry Information
Seattle Convention Center hosts a variety of events, including business conferences, trade shows, meetings and other organized gatherings. Not every event is open to the public.
- Find the event name. Use the official convention center event calendar or the organizer’s published event page.
- Confirm the building. Verify whether the event uses Arch at 705/800 Pike or Summit at 900 Pine.
- Confirm the date and registration time. General building hours are not the same as event doors or check-in times.
- Find the authorized ticket source. Some events require paid admission, others registration, and some are invitation-only.
- Check visitor rules. Review identification requirements, permitted bags, prohibited items, badge pickup, re-entry, age limits and accessible arrangements if published by the organizer.
- Identify your event hall. Save the assigned room, hall or ballroom and any instructions about the preferred entrance.

For Exhibitors and Event Planners: Freight, Loading and Venue Booking
Arch’s public visitor entrances are not intended to replace approved exhibitor loading routes. Organizers, decorators, contractors and exhibitors should use the event’s designated freight instructions.
Loading and Deliveries
The convention center states that the Arch at 705 Pike loading docks are on Level 4 and are reached through a two-lane ramp from Hubbell Place.
At Arch at 800 Pike, loading areas serve the Yakima Level and are approached from the alley on the east side of the building between Pike and Pine Streets.
All freight and dock access must be scheduled through the event manager. Showing up with a truck at the public entrance is not an acceptable substitute.
Event Planning Checklist
- Request dates and available event space before making commitments.
- Verify the hall layout and final permitted capacities.
- Confirm freight entrance, dock reservations and vehicle clearance.
- Ask about audiovisual services, power, connectivity and equipment rental.
- Confirm food and beverage arrangements and applicable exclusivity policies.
- Review certificates, insurance, safety rules, installation requirements and move-in dates.
- Use an event-specific written quote or contract for all costs.
The facility has a formal event inquiry process. Rental pricing is not a single standard public walk-in rate; it depends on dates, rooms, event setup and services.
Nearby Hotels and Practical Stay Planning
Arch is in downtown Seattle, surrounded by hotels, restaurants and conference-related services. When choosing accommodations, focus on the actual event building—not simply the hotel description “near Seattle Convention Center.”
For travelers considering suite-style lodging, our Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle Downtown/Convention Center visitor guide explains the hotel at 1815 Terry Avenue, including how its location differs for Arch and Summit attendees.
Check the walking route to the Arch entrance, parking charges, weather exposure, accessible access, breakfast, cancellation policy and whether your conference offers a negotiated hotel rate.
If you need help identifying official websites, parking information or event requirements across our guides, see how to use convention-center.org.
