Find the Right LVCC Hall, Map and Route Before You Arrive
The Las Vegas Convention Center is a 4.6-million-square-foot campus with West, North, Central and South Hall zones. The most useful first step is not simply entering the street address—it is finding your event hall, current event floor plan and arrival route.
This guide turns the current official July 2026 Facility Guide and campus PDFs into practical visitor, exhibitor and planner decisions, including exact hall sizes, $15 general parking rules, Vegas Loop, Monorail, hotels, accessibility and 2026 renovation changes.
Las Vegas Convention Center Quick Answers
If you only have one minute, confirm these details, then open your event organizer’s floor plan. Event-specific instructions can override the general campus guidance below.
Las Vegas, NV 89109. Use your event hall for the final entrance.
General Las Vegas Convention Center contact.
Official campus-scale description; not the same as rentable exhibit-hall total.
Current facility listing’s “Total Sq. Ft.” metric.
Sum of the current W/C/N/S exhibit-hall rows listed below.
Central Hall C1–C5 combined.
July 2026 Facility Guide; event parking can impose stricter payment/lot rules.
Subject to space availability; overnight parking is prohibited.
Use for halls, lots, Loop stations, Monorail and campus orientation.
Five campus stations; off-campus rides require a valid ticket.
Serves LVCC; West Hall may still require bridge or Loop movement.
North + Central Halls; organizer says parking is extremely limited.
Which Las Vegas Convention Center Map or Floor Plan Do You Actually Need?
A common search mistake is treating “LVCC map,” “South Hall map,” “floor plan” and “map PDF” as the same document. They solve different tasks.
July 2026 Facility Overview Map
Use it for: West/North/Central/South orientation, named parking lots, accessible parking, Vegas Loop stations, Monorail relationship, first aid and charging markers.
Feb. 2026 Freight & Roll-Up Map
Use it for: freight doors, roll-up doors, hall subareas, elevators, escalators and service/logistics orientation. The PDF itself says its maps are not to scale.
Your Event’s Floor Plan
Use it for: booth numbers, stages, registration, sponsor areas, event entrances and show-specific layout. This is usually the most important map on event day.
Approval Floor Plan
Use it for: formal event planning. LVCC’s current guide requires scaled .dwg and .dwf submissions together and Safety/Fire + CSM approval.
Best sequence: open your event organizer page → confirm hall/booth/registration → use the event floor plan → use the July 2026 campus map for parking/Loop/Monorail. Do not start with an old generic image-search map.
Going to ASD Market Week Aug. 25–27? Use North + Central Hall Instructions
Current event note: ASD Market Week is scheduled for Tuesday–Thursday, Aug. 25–27, 2026, 9 AM–6 PM in the newly renovated North and Central Halls. Its organizer describes two connected halls as one unified show floor.
No August hotel shuttle
ASD explicitly says hotel shuttle bus service will not be available for the August 2026 show.
Parking is extremely limited
The organizer recommends rideshare, taxi, Monorail or Loop instead of assuming a parking space will be available.
Show-specific drop-off
ASD lists rideshare outside North Hall next to Silver Lot and at the back of Central Hall near the C5 entrance; taxi pickup/drop-off is outside North Hall next to Silver Lot.
General rule vs event override: the July 2026 LVCC Facility Guide says general parking accepts cash or credit. ASD’s own August parking instructions can be stricter. For this event, follow ASD’s current transportation page rather than assuming the venue-wide payment rule controls every lot.
Current LVCC Map PDFs: What Is Fresh, What Is Older, and What Each Shows
| Official resource | Date visible in source | Best use | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Facility Overview Map | July 2026 | Campus orientation, halls, lot names, visitor parking, accessible parking, Loop stations, Monorail, first aid and charging. | Campus map, not booth-level show map. |
| Facility Guide | July 2026 | Parking rules, hand carry, floor-plan approval, contacts, mobility devices, food/service policies and planner requirements. | Written facility policy; your event can add stricter operational rules. |
| Freight & Roll-Up Doors | February 2026 | Freight doors, roll-up doors, hall segmentation and service/logistics navigation. | Marked “not to scale”; South Hall segment figures are service-map figures, not the best source for current booking totals. |
| ADA Access Map | September 2022 | Accessibility symbols and older accessibility orientation still linked from the current official venue page. | Predates the completed 2026 renovation. Cross-check with current campus map and event instructions. |
| Event organizer floor plan | Event-specific | Booth, stage, registration, sponsor areas and show-specific entrances. | Changes by show; do not use another event’s plan. |
South Hall map warning: the February freight/service map breaks South Hall into operational segments and shows some different composite figures. For current hall-size comparisons in this article, the official facility listing’s rentable hall rows are used instead.
How Big Is the Las Vegas Convention Center?
The correct answer depends on what you are measuring. Current official LVCC pages use several figures, and they should not be treated as interchangeable.
4.6 million sq ft
Overall facility/campus scale. This is the current LVCVA description of the entire LVCC facility.
2,934,153 sq ft
Official “Total Sq. Ft.” field. This appears on the current venue facility listing.
2,542,591 sq ft
Main named hall-group sum. This is the arithmetic total of W1–W4, C1–C5, N1–N4 and S1–S4 rows listed below.
Why some pages say about 2.9 million exhibit square feet: the venue’s marketing overview uses an approximate exhibit-space figure while the room listing exposes individual hall totals. For booth/location decisions, use the exact hall/subhall rows and your event plan—not a single campus headline.
| Hall block | Combined sq ft | Subhall figures | User takeaway |
|---|---|---|---|
| West Hall | 601,960 | W1 140,960 • W2 155,790 • W3 151,010 • W4 154,200 | Separate West-side arrival; Paradise Bridge and Loop matter. |
| Central Hall | 623,058 | C1 91,605 • C2 76,037 • C3 178,251 • C4 151,615 • C5 125,550 | Largest official room/group figure; strong Monorail + Loop access. |
| South Hall | 908,496 | S1 224,944 • S2 218,894 • S3 242,392 • S4 222,266 | Largest combined total of the four named hall blocks. |
| North Hall | 409,077 | N1 102,131 • N2 99,788 • N3 101,443 • N4 105,715 | Connected with Central; 2026 renovation improved indoor route toward South. |
Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall: W1–W4, Map and Best Routes
West Hall is the newer 2021 expansion side of the campus. The current official room listing totals W1–W4 at 601,960 square feet.
| Area | Square feet | Practical note |
|---|---|---|
| W1 | 140,960 | Confirm exact event entrance/booth before choosing a lot. |
| W2 | 155,790 | Largest West subhall in the current listing. |
| W3 | 151,010 | Use event plan for booth-level routing. |
| W4 | 154,200 | West-side freight/service routing differs from public arrival. |
How West Hall connects to the older campus
- Paradise Bridge: the current campus map shows the enclosed connection from West toward the legacy campus.
- Vegas Loop: free on-campus travel can reduce the long West-to-North/Central movement; LVCVA describes up to a 25-minute walk versus roughly 2 minutes by Loop for West to North/Central.
- Monorail: Boingo Station is on the legacy-campus side. For West Hall, plan a bridge or Loop transfer rather than assuming the Monorail door is at West Hall.
- Parking: the July 2026 campus map shows Diamond and Yellow on the West side, but event operations decide which lots are actually available.
West Hall search tip: if your event says “W2” or “West Hall,” save both the event floor plan and current campus map. A hotel or parking result labelled “near LVCC” may be much closer to Central/South than your West entrance.
Las Vegas Convention Center Central Hall: C1–C5 and 2026 Grand Lobby
Central Hall C1–C5 totals 623,058 square feet, the same figure shown as the current facility listing’s largest room. Central also carries major visitor circulation because of its Grand Lobby, Monorail-side access and multiple Loop stations.
| Area | Square feet | Practical note |
|---|---|---|
| C1 | 91,605 | Near the southward campus connection; use event map for door assignment. |
| C2 | 76,037 | Smallest Central subhall by listed square footage. |
| C3 | 178,251 | Largest Central subhall in the official room listing. |
| C4 | 151,615 | Large center-campus exhibit area. |
| C5 | 125,550 | Some events use C5-side rideshare or registration routes. |
What changed for Central in 2026?
The $600 million legacy-campus renovation completed in January 2026 modernized the Central Grand Lobby, including a new glass curtain wall and major digital-display elements. That matters because pre-2026 photos and floor-plan screenshots can show a different arrival experience.
ASD Aug. 25–27: ASD uses Central + North. Badge pickup begins before show opening on multiple days, and its organizer directs attendees to show-specific transportation/drop-off points. Follow ASD’s event map for the final door.
Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall: S1–S4 Map and Square Footage
South Hall’s current official facility-listing rows total 908,496 square feet, making it the largest combined total among the four main named hall blocks in this guide.
| Area | Square feet | Practical note |
|---|---|---|
| S1 | 224,944 | Level 1 area shown on current service maps. |
| S2 | 218,894 | Use official room listing for rentable-size comparison. |
| S3 | 242,392 | Largest South subhall in the current listing. |
| S4 | 222,266 | Event plan is required for exact show-floor divisions. |
Why the South Hall freight map can show different numbers
The February 2026 Freight & Roll-Up Doors PDF is a service/logistics map. It splits South into operational segments across levels and explicitly notes that maps are not to scale. Use it to find freight doors and service routes; use the current facility listing above for hall-size comparison.
New South Hall entrance context
The completed 2026 renovation included a redesigned South Hall and a new east-side entrance/plaza treatment. If a search result uses an older South Hall exterior image or pre-renovation entrance route, verify it against the July 2026 campus map and your event page.
Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall: N1–N4 and Indoor Connections
North Hall N1–N4 totals 409,077 square feet. North sits beside Central and now benefits from the completed 2026 climate-controlled interior connection toward South Hall.
| Area | Square feet | Practical note |
|---|---|---|
| N1 | 102,131 | North-side event routing can use different pickup areas than West/South. |
| N2 | 99,788 | Confirm event door and booth area before parking. |
| N3 | 101,443 | Connected into the North/Central show flow for some events. |
| N4 | 105,715 | Largest North subhall by current listed area. |
Current August relevance: ASD Market Week is using North and Central Halls as one connected show floor. This is exactly why event-specific hall information is more useful than a generic “LVCC entrance” search.
Why Old Las Vegas Convention Center Maps Can Be Wrong After the 2026 Renovation
The LVCVA completed a $600 million renovation of the legacy campus in January 2026. The project began in 2023 and carried West Hall’s newer design language into Central, North and South areas.
Central Grand Lobby
Modernized lobby with new glass curtain wall and natural light.
Digital displays
Large new digital screen installations changed wayfinding/branding context.
North ↔ South
New climate-controlled interior concourse improves movement without exiting the building.
South east entrance
Redesigned entrance/plaza and updated legacy-campus arrival experience.
Freshness rule: an older PDF can still be officially linked (the ADA map is a good example), but that does not make every entrance or architectural detail current. For 2026 travel, cross-check older accessibility documents with the July 2026 campus map and your event instructions.
Las Vegas Convention Center Parking: $15, Reentry, Lot Names and Event Overrides
The current July 2026 Facility Guide lists a general $15 fee per standard parking space. It also sets rules that many short parking guides omit.
| Rule | Current official detail | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Standard space | $15 | General Facility Guide says cash or credit accepted; check event-specific payment rule. |
| Same-day reentry | Paid receipt can be shown | Keep the receipt; reentry is subject to available space. |
| Overnight | Prohibited | Vehicles left overnight can be towed at owner’s expense. |
| More than one space | Charged accordingly | Vehicle must fit within two spaces lengthwise. |
| Paid dates | Depend on building activity | Move-in/out can also be paid when other shows are active. |
| Special parking help | Traffic Office 702-892-7400 | Use for unusual vehicle/parking concerns. |
What parking lots are on the July 2026 map?
West side
Diamond and Yellow appear around West Hall. Proximity does not guarantee event-day availability.
Central / North side
Silver, Blue and Orange appear around the central legacy-campus area.
South / east side
Bronze, Platinum and White appear on the current campus map.
Do not choose a lot from geography alone. Events can reserve lots, redirect traffic, close sections or establish special rideshare/taxi zones. The event page is the operational source for that day.
Vegas Loop vs Las Vegas Monorail: Which One Solves Your LVCC Trip?
| Option | Use it for | Current key detail | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vegas Loop at LVCC | Hall-to-hall movement, especially West ↔ legacy campus | Five campus stations; on-campus rides free | Off-campus public-station rides require a ticket; event station operations can vary. |
| Las Vegas Monorail | Strip/hotel corridor to LVCC | Boingo Station at LVCC; trains generally arrive every 4–8 minutes | Boingo has no customer-service office. |
| Walk | Nearby hotel or adjacent hall | Flexible, no fare | Campus is large; LVCVA says West-to-North/Central can take up to about 25 minutes on foot. |
| Rideshare/taxi | Door-to-event side when carrying luggage or avoiding parking | Show-specific pickup zones can reduce walking | Use organizer’s current pickup location; do not reuse another show’s zone. |
Vegas Loop: the practical rule
LVCVA says the LVCC Loop uses about two miles of tunnels, five stations across the roughly 200-acre campus, and is designed for more than 4,400 convention attendees per hour. Travel within the LVCC campus is free. Trips to public stations outside campus require a valid ticket.
Monorail prices that matter for a convention visit
| Ticket | Full fare | Online eTicket | Useful note |
|---|---|---|---|
| One ride | $6 | $5.50 | Single entry/ride for one person. |
| 1-day unlimited | $15 | $13.45 | Starts when first used at a fare gate. |
| 3-day unlimited | $32 | $29.95 | Can suit multi-day show visitors using Strip hotels. |
| Children 5 and under | Free | Official ticket page says age five and under ride free. | |
West Hall + Monorail: the Monorail stop is not a West Hall front door. Plan to enter the North/Central side and use Paradise Bridge or transfer via the free on-campus Loop when appropriate.
Hotels Near Las Vegas Convention Center: Choose by Hall, Not Just Distance
The official LVCC overview says the venue is within a short distance of roughly 150,000 Las Vegas hotel rooms. That does not make every “near LVCC” hotel equally useful. Your hall changes the route.
| Hotel zone / examples | Best fit | Why | Verify before booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| Convention Center Dr / West-side business hotels | West Hall, speakers, exhibitors | Las Vegas Marriott, SpringHill Suites and nearby business hotels can reduce West-side travel. | Actual pedestrian entrance, hotel parking, resort/destination fees and event-room block. |
| Westgate / North-Central transit side | North/Central + transit-first visitors | Westgate has its own Monorail station and a Vegas Loop public connection. | Whether your event’s useful door is North, Central or elsewhere. |
| Paradise Rd / Renaissance-Courtyard area | Central/South-side business travel | Close to the legacy-campus/Monorail side without staying deep on the Strip. | Walking route in heat, luggage, checkout/storage and breakfast timing. |
| Resorts World / Encore / Strip resort zone | Resort experience + West/Loop options | Public Loop stations may help when operating for your trip; Strip amenities are extensive. | Off-campus Loop ticket, event hours, resort fees and exact walking route. |
LVCC Accessibility: Parking, Doors, Mobility Rentals and Current PDF Caveat
Current official venue information lists several permanent accessibility features. Event organizers remain responsible for show-specific access and services they provide.
| Need | Current official detail | Practical action |
|---|---|---|
| Accessible parking | Spaces for properly identified regular vehicles and vans | Use current campus/event parking map and display required identification. |
| Automatic doors | Installed at frequently used accessible entrances | Match your entrance to the event hall. |
| Wheelchair/scooter rental requests | FedEx Office in Central Grand Lobby and South Hall Lobby; 1-888-441-7575 | Arrange early, especially for large shows. |
| TDDs | Permanently installed at various facility locations | Use accessibility map/signage or ask staff. |
| Additional aids | Assistive listening, auxiliary aids, portable wheelchair lift, wheelchair-accessible lectern | Coordinate show-specific needs in advance. |
| Bicycle parking | 11 locations across West, Central, North and South | Use official bicycle map for exact racks. |
Personal mobility device rule from the July 2026 Facility Guide
Only ADA-approved personal mobility devices are permitted. The guide lists non-ADA Segways, manual/electric scooters, skateboards and other personal mobility devices as prohibited. Approved ADA devices have a 5 mph maximum speed; indoor charging is not permitted, with charging allowed only outside in designated areas.
ADA PDF freshness: the accessibility PDF currently linked by the venue is dated September 2022, so it predates the 2026 renovation. Use it for accessibility symbols, but verify post-renovation routing with the current July 2026 campus map and your event organizer.
Rules Visitors Often Discover Too Late
Badge / ID visibility
The July 2026 Code of Conduct says event badges or proper company/union identification must be visibly displayed while on LVCC property when applicable.
Smoking and vaping
Indoor smoking is prohibited. Outdoors, smoking and vaping are allowed only in designated smoking areas.
Security concerns
The Facility Guide directs visitors to LVCVA Security at 702-892-7400 for reporting concerns.
Event rules can be stricter: bag size, cameras, age limits, cosplay/props, re-entry, food, badge pickup and show-floor access are controlled by the event organizer. Do not infer them from LVCC’s general rules.
LVCC Hand-Carry and Freight Rules: What Exhibitors Need Before Move-In
The July 2026 Facility Guide has a detailed hand-carry policy that is more restrictive than “I can unload my own boxes.” These rules are worth checking before driving to the campus.
Hand carry is allowed when…
- You carry your own materials without material-handling equipment.
- Any labor used is by full-time company employees who can show proof of employment.
- Loading/unloading occurs from parking lots, not curbside or LVCC roadways.
- Vehicle is a personally owned pickup or passenger van for hand-carry use.
- Boxes and suitcases use elevators rather than escalators.
Do not use hand-carry for…
- Hand carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, four-wheel carts or dollies.
- Loading dock or freight-door access.
- Freight one person cannot hand carry.
- Rental vehicles in the hand-carry lots.
- Larger vehicles or trailers; these must use the show’s contractor for freight unloading.
Use the Freight & Roll-Up Doors PDF for service routing
The February 2026 service map shows freight doors, roll-up doors, elevators, escalators, restrooms, first aid, information, mother’s-room icons, FedEx, Cox and food locations. It is more useful to an exhibitor than the simplified campus overview—but it is not an event booth plan.
LVCC Floor-Plan Approval: .DWG + .DWF, Scale Requirements and 30-Day Deadline
Planner floor-plan requirements are one of the strongest pieces of official PDF information missing from many general LVCC guides.
Exhibit halls, lobbies, meeting rooms, outdoor plazas and parking lots all require floor plans when used for event layouts.
The Facility Guide requires .dwg and .dwf formats at the same time.
Plans must show structures, obstructions, exits, aisles and booths, with booth and aisle dimensions.
Property name/address, room/location, contact phone/email, move-in/out dates and event/show name.
Safety and Fire Prevention plus the assigned Convention Services Manager must approve plans. Submit to boothplans@lvcva.com.
Final exhibit hall, lobby, general-session and meeting-room exhibit plans are due 30 days before move-in. Hall and lobby plans are submitted separately.
Revision rule: if an approved floor plan changes, highlight the changes and resubmit. Do not assume a prior approval automatically covers a revised layout.
Food, Internet, Shipping and Event-Service Providers
LVCC’s official venue page identifies exclusive or on-site service relationships that matter to attendees and exhibitors.
| Need | Official detail | User help |
|---|---|---|
| Food & beverage | Sodexo is the exclusive provider; two restaurants seating 1,300+, 18 concession stands and Starbucks are listed. | Operating outlets can vary by show. Planners/exhibitors need approval for outside food/sample activity. |
| Internet / data | Cox Business is the exclusive telephone, Internet, wireless and data network provider. | Do not assume public Wi-Fi is sufficient for booth demos, streaming or POS. |
| Shipping / printing | FedEx Office provides printing, branding and shipping support. | Useful for pre-ordered prints, last-minute materials and post-show shipping. |
| Event assistance | A Convention Services Manager is assigned to every event holding space. | Planners should use the assigned CSM for policy revisions and special requests. |
Outside food is not automatically allowed
The July 2026 Facility Guide says outside food and beverage are not permitted without prior approval, and food prepared or sampled inside an exhibit requires the appropriate approval process. Attendees should follow their event’s food/bag policy; exhibitors should not plan sampling from memory.
Public Ownership and GBAC STAR Accreditation
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) owns and operates the Las Vegas Convention Center. LVCVA states that it was founded by the Nevada Legislature in 1955 as a governmental entity. This is why the structured data below models LVCVA as the venue’s government-organization owner instead of labeling the convention center itself as a government office.
LVCC is also currently listed as GBAC STAR Accredited. This guide includes that certification in schema because it is officially stated and visibly explained here.
Which LVCC Number Should You Call?
Ticket/badge problem? Call the event organizer first. LVCC can answer building questions, but an organizer usually controls tickets, registration, badges, exhibit access, age rules and show schedule.
Common LVCC Event-Day Problems and the Best Next Step
| Problem | Likely reason | What to do now |
|---|---|---|
| You reached LVCC but cannot find your event | The campus has four major hall zones and many event-specific entrances | Open organizer floor plan; identify W/C/N/S hall and booth/registration. |
| Your parking lot is closed/full | Lot allocation changes by building/event activity | Follow event traffic staff; do not circle toward a lot just because the campus PDF shows it. |
| You are at Boingo Station but need West Hall | Monorail serves the legacy-campus side | Use North/Central route to Paradise Bridge or use the free on-campus Loop as event operations allow. |
| Old map does not match the lobby/entrance | Legacy-campus renovation completed in January 2026 | Switch to July 2026 campus map and current event map. |
| Your exhibitor cart is rejected | LVCC hand-carry rules prohibit several material-handling devices | Stop and follow show contractor/freight procedure rather than forcing hand carry. |
| Your ASD hotel shuttle never arrives | ASD says no hotel shuttle service for Aug. 2026 | Use rideshare, taxi, Monorail or Loop per ASD’s current transportation page. |
| You want to charge a personal e-scooter indoors | Current mobility policy prohibits indoor charging | Only ADA-approved personal mobility devices are allowed; use designated outdoor charging where applicable. |
