Admission planning

Tickets, Entry Fees & Event Opening Hours

There is no universal Philly Convention Center admission fee. The building hosts many independently organized events, so admission depends on the specific show.

Public Shows

Some exhibitions offer advance admission tickets, timed entry, child or senior categories, or on-site purchases.

Professional Conferences

Industry events may require paid registration, membership, professional credentials or advance approval.

Private Events

Some gatherings are invitation-only and not open to walk-in visitors.

Before Buying Any Ticket

  • Confirm the correct event name and date.
  • Check whether the event is public, trade-only or private.
  • Compare admission categories and applicable fees.
  • Check ticket delivery, ID requirements and age policies.
  • Review refunds, transfers, security screening and re-entry rules.
  • Use the official organizer’s approved ticket provider.
An event ticket does not automatically include parking, hotel accommodation, food or exhibitor services. Check exactly what the organizer includes.

Philadelphia Convention Center Entrances & Hall Access

The complex occupies several downtown blocks. The venue’s operations guidance separates the main 12th-and-Arch entrance from the North Broad Street entrance according to the hall or function space.

Main Entrance: 12th & Arch

GPS reference: 1201 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

Venue-wide directions associate this side with Halls A, B, C and F, the Grand Hall, and Ballrooms A and B.

Broad Street Entrance

GPS reference: 119 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

Venue-wide directions associate this entrance with Halls D, E and G, the Broad Street Atrium, and Terrace Ballroom.

Event instructions override general guidance. Registration can be assigned to a specific entrance, and some doors may not be open for a particular event. Service entrances and loading docks are not regular public entrances.

Downtown parking

Parking Near the Philly Convention Center

The Pennsylvania Convention Center does not publish one fixed parking price for all visitors. Several privately operated garages and lots surround the complex, and rates can vary by event, day, duration and reservation method.

How Much Does Parking Cost?

There is no reliable venue-wide flat parking price. Garage operators set their own rates. A garage may charge differently for a short visit, all-day parking, a special event or an overnight stay.

Five Steps to Choose Parking

  1. Identify your event entrance. Do not select a garage based only on the convention center’s mailing address.
  2. Search parking near that street. Compare Arch Street, Broad Street or Vine Street options depending on your assigned door.
  3. Check total price and hours. Include taxes, event pricing, closing time and cancellation terms.
  4. Confirm vehicle restrictions. Check garage height clearance, accessible spaces and overnight arrangements if needed.
  5. Save your return location. Keep a screenshot of the garage name, entry address and parking level.
Best practical approach: For a long event, the closest garage to your event entrance can be more useful than a cheaper facility several blocks away—especially with luggage, accessibility needs or poor weather.

Chinatown

A nearby neighborhood with restaurants and food options useful before or after events.

Center City

Walkable downtown shops, restaurants and attractions, including City Hall and nearby cultural destinations.

What About Food Inside the Convention Center?

Food and beverage availability depends on the event, activated concession locations and the venue’s catering arrangements. Do not assume every food outlet operates during every show.

Wi-Fi & Business Services

The convention center provides internet and exhibitor-related services, with different arrangements for public access, event-provided connectivity and ordered exhibitor internet.

Visitors should check whether the event includes complimentary Wi-Fi. Exhibitors requiring reliable payment terminals, wired connections or dedicated connectivity should confirm their service order before move-in.

Local Visitor Tips

  • Check Reading Terminal Market vendor hours before planning an early breakfast or late meal.
  • Carry a charged phone, but save your ticket or badge information offline as well.

For exhibitors and organizers

Exhibitor Rules, Freight, Services & Venue Booking
