How Much Does a Gaylord Palms Hotel Room Cost?
Gaylord Palms has no single fixed nightly price. A basic room on a quieter date may cost much less than an atrium-view room during a major convention or holiday weekend. You should compare the total stay amount, not just the headline room rate.
How to calculate your total stay
Total budget = room charges + any resort fees not already included + applicable taxes + parking + food + separately ticketed activities + transport.
When comparing booking websites, inspect the fee breakdown. Some listings include the resort fee in the displayed total, while others list it separately. Do not add the same fee twice.
| Example expense | 2-night illustration |
|---|---|
| Hypothetical room rate | $250 × 2 = $500 |
| Resort fee, if excluded from the quoted room rate | $45 × 2 = $90 |
| Self-parking illustration | $40 × 2 = $80 |
| Illustrative subtotal | $670 before applicable taxes, food and extras |
The $250 room rate is a calculation example, not a live hotel quote. Parking billing and taxes should be checked for your reservation.
How to check your real room total
- Open the official Marriott hotel listing. Select the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center property.
- Enter your exact check-in and check-out dates. Add every adult and child accurately.
- Compare room types. Check standard views, atrium views, balconies, bed configuration and accessible rooms where necessary.
- Open the rate details. Look for taxes, resort fees, cancellation deadlines, deposits and whether breakfast or attractions are included.
- Check eligible special rates. Compare event group codes, Marriott Bonvoy member rates, teacher, military or other eligible promotions.
- Review the final total. Add parking and any separately booked activity before confirming.
Resort Fee: What Does the $45 Cover?
A commonly published Gaylord Palms resort fee is $45 nightly. The fee can cover a bundle of resort amenities, but its treatment depends on the selected reservation.
Published conference accommodation information describes benefits such as resort-wide internet, in-room bottled water, fitness center access and scheduled transportation to Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs. Availability and details should be verified against the current hotel stay terms.
Potential included benefits
- Resort-wide internet access
- Fitness center access
- Selected resort services and amenities
- Scheduled Disney-area transportation when included in the current resort program
Do not assume these are included
- ICE! attraction admission
- Parking or valet service
- Private cabanas and premium seating
- Every FlowRider session or activity
- Dining, spa treatments or event registration
Gaylord Palms Parking Prices

| Overnight guest | As booked | In-and-out privileges available |
| EV charging | Verify | EV charging stations listed on-site; availability may vary |
For a family visiting ICE! for just one afternoon, the important question is not only ticket admission—it is admission plus parking for the vehicle. The resort also describes itself as cashless, so carry an accepted credit card or supported mobile payment method.
Cypress Springs Water Park: Day Passes & Cabanas
Cypress Springs is a three-acre water park with seven waterslides, an action river, a FlowRider surf simulator, two pools and a children’s water-play area. Registered overnight guests can enjoy eligible resort amenities, while non-overnight visitors can look for separately offered day passes.
Published starting rate; live dates can cost more.

Listed capacity: six guests.
Listed capacity: eight guests.
Separate spa-day offering.
Extra activity requirements or charges may apply.
What to check before buying a day pass
- Choose the actual visit date before comparing prices.
- Confirm whether adults and children need separate admission.
- Check slide and attraction height requirements.
- Review cabana guest capacity, inclusions and arrival rules.
- Confirm whether parking is separate.
- Check cancellation terms and whether your experience is refundable.
- Read the date-specific opening and closing times rather than assuming every slide operates whenever the pool is open.
Gaylord Palms ICE! Tickets: Prices, Dates & Admission
For the 2026 holiday season, Gaylord Palms is presenting ICE! featuring The Polar Express from November 13, 2026 through January 3, 2027.
ICE! is a separately ticketed attraction, not standard admission included with every hotel room. The 2026 ticketing system uses selected admission dates and entry times, so check the ticket calendar for the exact amount before payment.
First scheduled date.
2027 end date.
Under current official admission rules.
What the ICE! ticket includes
The experience features scenes from The Polar Express recreated in ice, five ice slides and cold-weather exhibits. A parka is provided for entry into the attraction, which is maintained at approximately 9°F.

- Most guests spend approximately 20–40 minutes inside.
- Closed-toe shoes are required for the ice slides; warm clothing and gloves are advisable.
- The official visitor FAQ advises arriving at least 15 minutes early, with additional time for parking and walking.
- Arriving late can mean losing guaranteed entry.
- Overnight guests may receive the complimentary Chill Pass benefit, but ICE! admission still requires a ticket.
Which Option Is Better: Staying Overnight or Buying Tickets?
| Your visit | Recommended comparison | Main cost to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Family visiting ICE! only | Buy individual timed tickets or a useful bundle | Admission, parking, processing fees |
| Family wanting water park access | Compare day passes against overnight room offers | Day-pass totals versus room + resort fee |
| Convention attendee | Compare event hotel block and regular Marriott rate | Taxes, fees, parking, event registration |
| Couple visiting for a special evening | Compare an attraction visit with an overnight package | Room charges, dining and tickets |
| Large family or group | Compare eligible room occupancy and group tickets | Room quantity, admission categories and parking |
Convention Center Registration & Meeting Prices
Gaylord Palms is also a major convention property. However, a conference attendee ticket is not a general admission ticket to the hotel or the water park.
Conference registration fees are set by each event organizer and can vary for members, nonmembers, students, exhibitors, early registrations and guests. A convention may negotiate hotel rates or special parking arrangements, but these are not automatically available to all visitors.
Before paying for a conference
- Find the official event registration page from your conference organizer.
- Check whether the registration covers workshops, meals, networking or exhibit access.
- Compare the organizer’s hotel block rate against Marriott’s public total price.
- Confirm whether your conference rate already includes the resort fee.
- Check deadlines, badge collection location and cancellation rules.
- Review any exhibitor-only charges separately, including power, internet, handling and food service.
