The ICCLOS upcoming-events page still displays a prominent closure notice for Oct. 27, 2025–Mar. 14, 2026. That date range is already over. Indiana Convention Center bag policy: check your specific event
The safest current answer is: there is no single 12" × 6" × 12" clear-bag rule published as a universal Indiana Convention Center rule in the venue’s general FAQ. ICCLOS still links a combined Indiana Convention Center/Lucas Oil Stadium floor-plan PDF from its media kit. Denison Parking operates Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium lots. What the facility-guide PDF adds
The current facility guide gives a tighter campus view than the citywide “70,000+ spaces” figure: it lists more than 9,400 public/private spaces immediately surrounding ICCLOS and another 40,000 within ten blocks. Those numbers describe different geographic areas, so they are not contradictory.
- Security and traffic-control staff may change vehicle flow for an event.
- Vehicles cannot be left unattended for extended periods during move-in/out or on dock ramps.
- Emergency vehicle lanes must remain clear.
- Accessible parking is available in ICCLOS surface lots or nearby garages.
Price rule: do not rely on an old blog’s fixed parking fee. Check the current garage/lot price before entering or use the official reserve/prepay path when available.

Rideshare, taxi and accessible drop-off
ICCLOS recommends the Maryland Street canopy on the north side of the center, at the southwest corner of Maryland Street and Capitol Avenue, as a taxi/drop-off/pickup reference. Skywalk hours are event-dependent

Plan the permanent venue access and the event-specific accommodation separately
ICCLOS describes the Convention Center as ADA compliant. Who manages and owns the complex?
The current facility guide says ICCLOS is managed by the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County (CIB). Indiana’s Stadium and Convention Building Authority says it owns the 2011 expansion and leases it to CIB, while CIB continues to own and operate the pre-existing adjacent Convention Center. Because the campus has this split history, this guide does not assign one oversimplified government owner to the entire EventVenue entity.
The sixth expansion and Signia project are still affecting 2026 visits
