Mandalay Bay Convention Center: Parking, Map & Floor Plan

Reviewed August 17, 2026

Plan the Right Garage, Floor and Convention Route Before You Arrive

Mandalay Bay Convention Center is at 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119. The campus is large enough that the useful question is not only “where is it?” but “which convention area, floor and garage does my event use?”

Start with the hall or ballroom on your registration email. Then match it to North Convention or South Convention Level 1, 2 or 3, and only after that choose parking, rideshare or the resort walking route.

LIVE SEARCH CORRECTIONS

Three Search-Result Traps to Avoid

Current search results mix official MGM pages with old event pages and third-party floor-plan sites. Use the current venue source for facts that can change.

Wrong address risk

Use 3950, not 3905

Some event-floor-plan pages currently surface 3905 S Las Vegas Blvd. MGM’s current venue, guest-service and directions pages consistently use 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Stale price risk

Old $9/$12/$15 parking tables are stale

Several old event/venue pages still show a free first hour and much lower parking tiers. MGM’s current 2026 parking page instead lists $20 weekday and $25 weekend self-parking for over 0–24 hours.

Wrong map risk

Event floor plans are temporary

An expo map can show temporary booths, badge desks, coat check or rideshare routing for one show. Use MGM’s facility floor plans for the building, then your organizer’s map for the event overlay.

Source hierarchy: current MGM parking page for rates → current MGM planner/floor-plan documents for facility rules → your organizer for show-specific doors, badges, bags, security and temporary traffic routing.

CHOOSE YOUR PATH

What Are You Trying to Do at the Venue?

Attendee

Get to registration without a long detour

Confirm North vs South Convention, then the level and room. Badge pickup can be somewhere other than your first session.

Driver

Choose the garage before entering resort traffic

Main self-parking is west; the convention garage is at the south end. Your event may publish a temporary traffic plan that overrides the default approach.

Exhibitor

Move freight without using public parking as a dock

Use the show manual and assigned dock. MGM’s current guide says show deliveries use loading docks unless a specific POV area is designated.

Planner

Turn the official PDF into deadlines

Fire plans, security, vendors, telecom, cleaning, first-aid planning and load-in/out all have advance requirements in V4.26.

Lost item

Report the exact place, not just “Mandalay Bay”

Start with the active event desk/security if appropriate, then use MGM’s lost-item process with hall, floor, date and identifying details.

First-time visitor

See the venue before event day

Use MGM’s 360° tours plus the official capacities PDF. Photos are useful for orientation; the organizer map remains final for temporary event setup.

ADDRESS & CONTACT

Use the Visitor Address — and Do Not Copy It onto Freight by Habit

The current official visitor address is 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119. MGM lists 877-632-7900 for meetings/conventions, 877-632-7700 for general resort inquiries and 702-632-7777 for TTY.

Use the address/contact that matches the task

Planner-guide Business Center shipment3970 Las Vegas Boulevard South + event/guest/meeting-room labelingThe V4.26 planner guide uses a special shipping format. Exhibitors should still follow their show’s freight instructions.

Address correction: some third-party event-floor-plan pages surface 3905 S Las Vegas Blvd. Do not use that as the venue’s current public address; MGM’s current pages use 3950.

Map reference coordinates: 36.08895, -115.17638 for the convention-center footprint from an OpenStreetMap-based mapping reference. Use the street address and your event instructions for navigation rather than typing coordinates into a driver app.

Use this for campus orientation. Your event can still specify a different entrance, South Convention level, North Convention area or dock.

EVENT-SPECIFIC RULES

There Is No One Universal Badge, Bag or Photography Rule for Every Show

Mandalay Bay supplies the venue; individual organizers can control registration, badge pickup, show hours, re-entry, bags, cameras, age limits, coat check, shuttle stops and temporary rideshare instructions.

Badge / ticketCheck whether advance registration, photo ID, QR code or onsite pickup is required.
Bag policyDo not copy rules from another Mandalay Bay event; use your organizer’s current attendee FAQ.
PhotographyExhibit halls can contain organizer/exhibitor restrictions even when general resort photography rules differ.
Re-entryCheck whether the show allows re-entry and whether your badge must be scanned again.
Temporary trafficA major show or nearby stadium event can change convention-lot, shuttle or rideshare routing.
Lost badge vs lost propertyBadge replacement is an organizer issue; personal property is a venue/security/lost-item issue.
CURRENT MGM RATES

Current Parking Fees — and Why Old Search Results Are Misleading

MGM’s parking page was checked on August 17, 2026. It groups Mandalay Bay with the current Las Vegas rate schedule below and explicitly warns that special-event prices can be higher.

Standard Mandalay Bay parking rates
Parking typeMon–ThuFri–SunWhat can change
Self-parking, over 0–24 hours$20$25Special-event pricing may be higher.
Each additional day / fraction$20$25The additional-day schedule follows weekday/weekend pricing.
Registered hotel guest$20$20MGM says weekend visitor rates do not apply to registered hotel guests.
Valet$40$40Special-event pricing may be higher; credit card/contactless only.
Nevada residentUp to 3 hours complimentaryValid Nevada driver license at exit; not available during special events.
Oversized vehicleNot offered at Mandalay BayMGM currently lists oversized parking at Excalibur only: $50 per 24-hour period/fraction, subject to availability.

Ignore old “first hour free / $9 / $12 / $15” tables. Those figures still appear in older search results and event pages, but they do not match MGM’s current 2026 Mandalay Bay schedule.

Allegiant Stadium overlap: MGM offers reserved prepaid parking at Mandalay Bay, W Las Vegas and Excalibur for select Allegiant Stadium events. Those event-specific fees and arrival/departure windows are separate from the standard table above.

GARAGE CHOICE

Main Self-Parking vs the Convention Center Garage

The V4.26 planner guide separates two parking approaches. This distinction is more useful than typing “Mandalay Bay parking garage” into navigation without knowing which side of the property you need.

Choose by destination, then obey event traffic signs
FacilityOfficial locationAccessUse it when
Main self-parking structureWest side of buildingHacienda or Frank Sinatra WayYou are using normal resort self-parking or your organizer has not supplied a convention-specific route.

Mandalay Bay valetMain Mandalay Bay entranceFollow resort valet signageYou value drop-off convenience and accept the higher standard valet charge.
W Las Vegas valetMain W Las Vegas entranceFollow W valet signageYour stay/event routing specifically uses the W side.

Level 1 map clue: the official South Convention plan literally labels an UNDERGROUND SELF-PARKING GARAGE at the Bayside F end. That makes Bayside hall letters a much better navigation clue than “Convention Center” alone.

After parking: photograph your level/row and the door you entered. A long expo day makes the return route much harder to remember than it seems in the morning.

PARKING MAP

Read the Map by Hall, Not by the Resort Logo

Bayside A–F means South Level 1

The official V9.25 plan shows Bayside A through F, the Bayside foyer, Food Court and underground self-parking garage on this level.

Shoreline / Mandalay Bay Ballroom means Level 2

Level 2 also shows Oceanside, Breakers, Lagoon, Reef, Surf, registration zones, elevators, escalators and upper docks.

South Seas means Level 3

Level 3 includes South Seas, Jasmine, Banyan, Palm and boardrooms. Do not confuse “Mandalay Bay Ballroom” with Level 3.

Parking enforcement: the current planner guide says vehicles in red/no-parking zones can be towed without notice at the owner’s expense, and vehicles may not be parked inside exhibit halls.

OFFICIAL FLOOR PLAN

Floor Plan by Level: The Room Names That Actually Change Your Route

The official capacities PDF is version V9.25. It is useful because it combines room names, approximate scale, ceiling heights, capacity formats and service locations. Your organizer’s map still controls temporary registration, booths and closed areas.

Level 1 micro-map details

The Level 1 drawing marks FedEx Center, Exhibitor Service, Food Court, First Aid, Essentials, elevators, escalators, charging stations, hydration stations, dock areas and the underground self-parking garage in addition to Bayside A–F.

Level 2 micro-map details

The Level 2 drawing shows Shoreline Exhibit Hall, Mandalay Bay Ballroom, Oceanside Ballroom, Breakers, Lagoon, Reef, Surf, registration areas, service corridors, elevators, escalators and upper dock areas.

Level 3 micro-map details

The Level 3 drawing shows South Seas Ballroom, Jasmine, Banyan, Palm spaces, multiple boardrooms, foyers, registration, elevators and escalators.

Capacity caveat: the PDF says capacities can change with staging, audiovisual, head tables and catering requirements. Use the figures to understand scale—not to infer your event’s final seating plan.

INSIDE THE RESORT

Walking from the Front Desk or Main Parking Garage

MGM publishes a repeatable indoor route to the convention area. It is useful when you arrive through the resort rather than directly at the South Convention parking side.

From the front desk

Pass the guest elevators toward the casino floor

Take the pathway on the left-hand side.

Stay on the cobblestone walkway

Continue along the route overlooking the beach.

Pass Border Grill and the Wedding Chapel

Continue to the Convention Center entrance, then switch to your event’s hall/floor directions.

From the main parking garage

Enter through the garage doorways

Join the cobblestone walkway.

Follow the path as it veers right

Continue along the beach-overlook route.

Pass Border Grill and the Wedding Chapel

Reach the convention entrance, then navigate by North/South, level and room.

Timing rule: staying at Mandalay Bay does not mean your hotel room is a two-minute walk from the show. Tower elevators, resort corridors, casino traffic and vertical travel inside the convention center can add substantial time.

LOST & FOUND

Lost an Item? Use a Two-Step Venue + Event Workflow

MGM’s resort FAQ links an official lost-item claim form, and the current planner guide says Mandalay Bay Security assists with lost/stolen property matters. Event organizers can also temporarily collect items at their own information or show office.

If the event is still open, ask the organizer desk or nearest security officer first

Give the exact room, booth, registration area, restroom, Food Court location or garage level. Do not assume another event’s “lost & found desk” location applies to yours.

Submit the MGM lost-item claim when the item is not immediately found

Mandalay Bay’s FAQ routes lost resort items to its online claim process.

Describe the item so it can be matched

Use brand, color, model, case, marks, approximate time and the precise last-known location.

Use tracker/serial details privately

If a device has an AirTag or serial number, provide sensitive identifiers only through official/security channels—not a public post.

For a lost event badge, contact registration instead

A badge is controlled by the organizer; replacement rules and fees are not a resort-wide lost-property policy.

Do not copy an event-specific security-desk location from search results. Some conference support pages name their own Level 1 lost-item process. That is not proof of a permanent, universal lost-and-found counter for every Mandalay Bay event.

RIDESHARE, TAXI & TRAM

Pickup and Drop-Off Are Different — Save Both Before the Event Ends

Current general resort transportation points

Rideshare drop-offPorte Cochère at the Main DriveAfter drop-off, follow venue/event wayfinding to your convention area.
Rideshare pickupSouth of the hotel lobby, down the escalator, at beach levelDo not wait at the Main Drive just because that is where you were dropped off.
TaxiDoor staff can assist at the main entranceUseful when app pickup is congested; event exit traffic can still delay departure.
Mandalay Bay TramCurrent page: daily 10:00 AM–12:00 AMUseful for resort-area movement; recheck if your late-night plan depends on it.
EV chargingAvailable through Mandalay Bay or W Las Vegas valetCurrent charging fee is $15 per vehicle plus applicable valet fee.

Event overlay: an organizer may publish a temporary shuttle or rideshare zone for its attendees. If that conflicts with the general resort pickup/drop-off page, use the event’s current instructions for that show.

ACCESSIBILITY & MEDICAL HELP

Accessible Parking Is Verified; a Permanently Staffed EMT Station Is Not

Accessible parking

The V4.26 guide says handicap parking spaces are available onsite at the Convention Center in close proximity to the facility.

First Aid map marker

The South Convention Level 1 floor plan marks a First Aid location near the Bayside A/service area.

EMT staffing

The planner guide separately says the Convention Center does not have an EMT on premise as a standing service; some events are required to arrange EMT coverage.

When MGM says EMT coverage may be required

The current guide lists examples including exhibit-hall licenses, trade shows, parking-lot events, concerts/special events, large meal functions, forklift/scissor-lift/cart activity and groups of 5,000 or more. That is planner guidance—not a promise that an EMT is stationed at the mapped First Aid point during every event.

Accessibility planning: if you need a low-walking route, mobility-device accommodation or event-specific accessible seating/entry, contact the organizer before travel. MGM also lists TTY at 702-632-7777.

Charging / hydrationCharging and hydration station symbols are present in the official floor-plan legendsUse current onsite signage for the nearest available point.
Event internetMGM says it is the exclusive provider of convention internet connectionsDo not assume a random event page’s “free Wi-Fi” statement applies to every show or production need.

Shipping address is not the same as the public visitor address

The V4.26 planner guide gives Business Center event shipments a 3970 Las Vegas Boulevard South format with event name, arrival date, guest name/cell, company and meeting room. MGM’s current public FedEx guest page also publishes a 3950-address labeling format for its hotel-lobby office. That is exactly why exhibitors should use the shipping instructions supplied for their event instead of guessing from the public venue address.

Freight shortcut to avoid: MGM’s planner guide says exhibitors should not use the parking lot or adjacent areas for loading/unloading unless Show Management has designated a specific POV area.

PHOTOS & 360° TOURS

Use Room-Specific Visuals Instead of Generic Image Search

MGM’s Convention Center page provides Virtual Tours / 360° Photos / Downloads for North Convention and each South Convention level. Those are more useful for planning than an undated exterior photo.

Attendee

Preview foyers, escalator/elevator relationships and room scale, then use your organizer map for registration and temporary walls.

Exhibitor

Pair 360° visuals with the official dock and egress documents. A pretty room photo does not tell you freight access.

Planner

Use the capacities PDF for dimensions/capacity and the official tours for sightlines/feel. Final layouts still need event and fire-approval workflow.

Photo search warning: many indexed images are old expo floor plans. Booth maps are temporary event layouts, not permanent building plans.

EXHIBITOR MICRO-GUIDE

Load-In, Freight and Utilities: Six Rules Worth Knowing Early

Show deliveries use loading docksThe planner guide says not to use public parking/adjacent areas unless a specific POV zone is designated.

Heavy freight goes to the show contractorV4.26 directs trade-show shipments over 150 lb to the General Service Contractor.
No children during load-in/outThe current trade-show section says children may be allowed during show hours only with Show Management approval, not during move-in/out.

Ceiling/floor-load detail: the planner guide says exhibit halls have 30-ft ceilings; the capacities PDF lists Bayside A–D at 350-lb floor load and Bayside E–F at 250 lb, while Shoreline is listed at 350 lb. Heavy equipment requires event-specific engineering/operations review.

VERIFIED FACILITY DETAIL

GBAC STAR Accreditation

MGM’s current Convention Center facilities page states that Mandalay Bay Convention Center has achieved Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR accreditation. The venue describes the program around operating procedures, risk assessment, protective measures and emergency preparedness/response. This is included because it is an official, visible facility credential—not as a generic SEO badge.
