The Convention Center watch parties are over—do not use July parking advice as a current event alert
The City of Santa Clara held quarterfinal watch parties at the Convention Center July 9–11, 2026. Those programs included big-screen viewing, family activities and food/beverage sales.

A practical event-day parking sequence
The facilities guide explicitly warns that adjacent city-garage availability can be affected by major stadium events.
The public venue page identifies the 1,500-space garage as the principal on-site guest option.

Light rail: avoid the “Convention Center Station” naming trap
VTA has a station literally named Convention Center Station, but that station is in downtown San Jose. It is not the stop you should select just because you are visiting the Santa Clara Convention Center.

VTA’s Great America Station serves the Levi’s Stadium / Great America area, offers wheelchair boarding and connects with ACE.

VTA’s current light-rail guidance says to use Orange Line service to Great America Station for the Levi’s Stadium / Great America area.

That VTA stop is associated with downtown San Jose. Verify your destination before buying or boarding.

The Facilities Guide describes the center as highly accessible and includes wheelchair seating considerations for assembly areas. The parking page also identifies accessible parking in front of the building.

Do not ship booth freight to the front desk
This is one of the most useful details hidden in the planner PDF: the Convention Center cannot accept advance exhibition freight. Shipments must be coordinated through show management or its designated service contractor.

Nearby planning: the best hotel is often the one that reduces event-day movement
The venue is near hotels, Levi’s Stadium and the Great America area. The main garage’s walking access connects toward the Convention Center, Hyatt Regency and TechMart, so a nearby stay can reduce the need to move a car between sessions.
