Anaheim Marriott: the practical hotel choice for Convention Center + Disneyland trips
The Anaheim Marriott at 700 West Convention Way is the Marriott beside the Anaheim Convention Center. It is useful when your trip mixes convention sessions with Disneyland, but the details that affect your budget are parking, the paid park shuttle, your exact convention hall and the difference between this hotel and Anaheim Marriott Suites.
Two 2026 corrections matter: the old Anaheim Transportation Network/ART service ended March 31, and Marriott now advertises a paid Anaheim Campus Shuttle to Disneyland Resort.
What you need to know before you book
These are the current, decision-changing facts. Dynamic room rates, shuttle fares and event-day conditions should always be rechecked for your exact dates.
700 W Convention Way, Anaheim, CA 92802 • 714-750-8000.
Visit Anaheim’s property-to-ACC listing; room-to-hall time can be longer.
Marriott describes roughly a 15-minute walk and a paid daily Anaheim Campus Shuttle.
Anaheim Transportation Network service ended March 31, 2026.
Current Marriott daily rate; tax not included.
Current Marriott daily rate; tax not included.
Marriott publishes separate event/meeting rates; tax extra and rates can change.
Minimum check-in age is 18.
nFuse, Market Cafe, Slice, mobile dining and Concierge Lounge.
23 event rooms; largest-space capacity listed as 3,585.
No hotel airport shuttle; LGB 18.2 mi and LAX 35 mi are also listed.
Strongest when ACC proximity matters and Disney is part of the same stay.
Who should choose this hotel—and who should compare something else?
Multi-day convention attendee
The ability to walk back to the room between sessions can matter more than a small room-rate difference, especially if your event uses the south side of the ACC campus.
Convention + Disneyland traveler
You get adjacent convention access plus a walk/shuttle decision for Disneyland instead of changing hotels between work and leisure portions.
Disney-only or suite-first family
If your priority is a two-room suite, pet-friendly stay, or lower parking cost, compare Anaheim Marriott Suites or a park-first hotel before paying for convention proximity.
August 2026 updates older hotel guides can miss
ART/ATN service ended
Anaheim Transportation Network wound down on March 31, 2026. Old pages can still surface Route 05 or ART-stop instructions, so do not build a new trip around those labels.
Anaheim Campus Shuttle is the current Marriott option
Marriott’s dedicated Disneyland page now advertises a paid shuttle operating daily between the hotel and Disneyland Resort. Fare and schedule are not published in the hotel page text, so verify them before relying on a departure.
Two live August considerations
Marriott’s nFuse summer collaboration runs through September 30. Visit Anaheim also lists major ACC public events on Aug. 22–23 and Aug. 29–30, so convention traffic can rise around those dates.
Anaheim Marriott and Anaheim Marriott Suites are different hotels
This is the single most important name-confusion fix for this search. “Anaheim Marriott Convention Center” normally means the full-service Marriott on Convention Way. “Anaheim Marriott Suites” is a separate Garden Grove property.
| Hotel | Address | Best reason to choose | Current direct-Marriott parking | Pet policy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Anaheim Marriott | 700 W Convention Way, Anaheim, CA 92802 | Adjacent convention access + Disney walk/shuttle option | $56/day self; $61/day valet | Pets not allowed |
| Anaheim Marriott Suites | 12015 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92840 | 371 two-room suites, separate living/bedroom layout | $25/day self parking | Up to 3 pets, 25 lb or less; $75 non-refundable fee per stay |
What the Convention Center parking map tells hotel guests
The official ACC parking-map PDF is useful because it places Anaheim Marriott, Marriott Parking, Marriott Dock Access, Grand Plaza, Hall E and Transit Plaza on the same campus diagram. It also carries an important limitation: the map is dated January 29, 2021, so its old ART labels are not current after the 2026 ATN shutdown.
If your event is in Halls A–D
The map places Anaheim Marriott on the south/east edge of the main convention campus, with Grand Plaza immediately north of the hotel. Your route can be short, but badge pickup or a far hall can add substantial indoor walking.
If your event uses Hall E or Transit Plaza
Hall E is shown on the lower level southwest of the hotel, with a pedestrian corridor and Transit Plaza nearby. This is why “the hotel is next door” does not equal a two-minute room-to-booth guarantee.
What “Marriott Dock Access” does not mean
The map shows hotel dock access, but exhibitors should not treat that as permission to move ACC freight through the hotel. Use the event’s exhibitor manual for loading, marshaling, move-in and dock instructions.
Walk, shuttle or rideshare: which Disneyland option makes sense?
Marriott currently markets Disneyland Resort as roughly a 15-minute walk and also provides access via the paid Anaheim Campus Shuttle. Disneyland’s Good Neighbor listing classifies the hotel as about half a mile to one mile from the resort. Those measures describe general hotel-to-resort proximity, not an exact room-to-turnstile time.
| Option | Best for | Current status | What to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Walk | Adults/light travelers who prefer no schedule | Marriott currently says ~15 minutes | Weather, stroller needs, park security and late-night energy |
| Anaheim Campus Shuttle | Families, tired feet, split convention/park days | Paid; Marriott says it operates daily | Fare, pickup point, first/last departure and return schedule |
| Rideshare | Flexible departure or late return | Independent option | Disney-designated pickup/drop-off area and surge pricing |
| Old ART Route 05 | Do not use for new planning | ATN service ended Mar. 31, 2026 | Use current Marriott shuttle/OCTA information instead |
Good Neighbor package benefit families can miss
Disney’s current Anaheim Marriott Good Neighbor page says that, with eligible vacation packages only, children age 11 and under can receive up to two complimentary children’s-menu breakfast meals per one paying adult at nFuse. Do not assume this applies to a room-only booking.
Early check-in, late checkout and connecting rooms
Marriott currently lets guests add guaranteed connecting rooms, early check-in or late checkout through its stay-enhancement flow. That can be especially useful when a convention ends after normal checkout or when a family needs connected rooms; availability and price should be checked during booking.
Parking: overnight, short visit and event-attendee rates are not the same
| Use case | Self | Valet | Important note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Overnight / daily hotel guest | $56/day | $61/day | Tax not included |
| Short self parking | 0–20 min complimentary; 1–5 hr $46; 5+ hr $56 | — | Tax not included |
| Short valet | — | 0–3 hr $51; 4+ hr $61 | Tax not included |
| Non-overnight event/meeting attendee | $44/day | $49/day | Marriott says ACC or hotel event attendees; tax extra; rates subject to change |
What the current nFuse menus tell you about meal cost and dietary planning
Marriott’s dining page links dedicated 2026 breakfast, lunch and dinner PDFs. Instead of repeating the whole menu, these examples give you realistic on-property price expectations before a convention or park day.
| Meal | Examples from current PDF | What it means for planning |
|---|---|---|
| Breakfast | Churro Waffle $18; Chilaquiles $22; Prime Steak & Eggs $32 | A sit-down breakfast can cost materially more than a grab-and-go Market Cafe stop. |
| Lunch | Sriracha Shrimp $20; Garden Veggie Burger $24; Craft Burger $25 | Lunch PDF marks vegetarian/gluten-free selections and lists add-on protein prices. |
| Dinner | Roasted Spiced Cauliflower $25; Pan-Seared Salmon $36; 16 oz Ribeye $59 | Dinner ranges from vegetarian mains to premium steak; build group budget accordingly. |
Current restaurant hours
| Outlet | Hours | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| nFuse Restaurant, Bar & Lounge | Mon–Thu, Sun 6:30 AM–12 AM; Fri–Sat 6:30 AM–1 AM | Sit-down breakfast, business dinner, late drink |
| The Market Cafe | Daily 6 AM–3 PM | Early coffee, pastry, sandwich, grab-and-go |
| Slice Pizzeria | Daily 4 PM–10:30 PM | Casual dinner / family option |
| A La Carte / Mobile Dining | Daily 6 AM–1 AM | Room dining after long convention or park days |
| Concierge Lounge | Mon–Thu, Sun 6:30–10 AM & 5:30–10 PM; Fri–Sat 6:30–10 AM | Eligible Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador guests + 1 guest |
Current summer dining change
The Chef Angelo Sosa collaboration at nFuse is officially dated July 1 through September 30, 2026. Marriott also says nFuse operates a 338-port hydroponic garden used for greens and edible flowers—a relevant sustainability detail rather than a generic restaurant claim.
Small hotel details that can change a family or convention stay
Accessible parking, routes and room features
Marriott’s current accessibility section lists accessible and van-accessible on-site parking, elevators, an accessible main entrance, accessible pool/business-center/fitness-center entries and accessible meeting spaces. It also lists mobility-accessible rooms, roll-in showers, hearing-accessible rooms/kits, lowered features and other room adaptations.
Before booking
If a roll-in shower, hearing kit, bed-height adjustment or particular route is important, call 714-750-8000 and confirm the exact room type rather than relying only on a generic “accessible room” filter.
Service animals
Marriott states that service animals are welcome without a fee or documentation. The hotel’s “pets not allowed” rule is therefore not the same as a service-animal restriction.
Meeting space, ballroom capacity and planner details
Marriott currently publishes 23 event rooms, 169,740 square feet of total event space, 43 breakout rooms and a largest-space capacity of 3,585. For a planner, this makes the hotel useful for private functions, convention overflow, sponsor meetings and stand-alone conferences.
| Space | Area | Theater | Reception | Banquet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Marquis Ballroom | 25,636 sq ft | 3,231 | 3,515 | 2,030 |
| Platinum Ballroom | 25,410 sq ft | 3,200 | 3,585 | 2,010 |
| Grand Ballroom | 15,822 sq ft | 1,816 | 2,264 | 1,280 |
Airport distances and the 2026 transit reset
| Airport | Distance | Hotel airport shuttle | Planning use |
|---|---|---|---|
| John Wayne / Orange County (SNA) | 14.1 mi | No | Closest of the three airports Marriott lists |
| Long Beach (LGB) | 18.2 mi | No | Useful alternative depending on fares/routes |
| Los Angeles International (LAX) | 35.0 mi | No | More flight choice; build a larger traffic buffer |
After ATN ended, OCTA remained the public-transit operator serving much of the Anaheim Resort area. If you are not using the Marriott Disneyland shuttle, use the current OC Bus trip planner rather than an old ART route screenshot.
Map: use the hotel address, then save your convention hall separately
Hotel: 700 West Convention Way, Anaheim, CA 92802. Verified Marriott map coordinates used here: 33.799393, -117.918601. For an ACC event, save your hall/registration point too.
Do not use one star rating to decide this stay
A hotel review is useful only when it matches your trip type. Recent SERP competitors surface many reviews, but the questions below are more actionable than copying a score into this page.
Convention traveler
Filter recent reviews for elevator waits, lobby crowds, hall walking time, event parking, early breakfast and noise during large conventions.
Disney family
Look for shuttle timing, stroller practicality, pool use, connecting-room experience, late return and breakfast convenience.
Driver
Read current comments about garage access, valet queue and total parking cost—but confirm the actual rate on Marriott because old reviews preserve old prices.
