How to Find Your Event and Get Tickets

  1. Open the official convention center event calendar.
  2. Use the date filter, event category or keyword search to find your show.
  3. Open its listing and check the date, event name, organizer and event category.
  4. Follow the organizer’s registration or authorized ticket link, where provided.
  5. Check adult/child admission rules, ticket delivery, badge collection, door-opening times and assigned halls.
  6. Save the ticket or confirmation on your phone before traveling.
Tickets are not universal. There is no single convention-center admission ticket that covers every event. Advance tickets may be required. Some public shows may operate a box office, but same-day admission should never be assumed.

Convention Center Parking: Garage, Rates and Height Limits

Which Parking Rate Applies to You?

Short Meeting

For a visit under two hours, the published regular starting rate is $8. Check whether your conference uses a special event rate.

Full-Day Convention

The published regular 8–15-hour rate is $16. A qualifying event rate may be $15, subject to the garage’s current posted terms.

What to Do if the Garage Is Full

  1. Open ParkPGH’s Convention Center Garage page.
  2. Look at the reported available spaces and last update. Availability is not a reservation.
  3. Compare nearby alternatives such as Grant Street Transportation Center and other downtown garages listed on ParkPGH.
  4. Check operating hours, walking distance, vehicle clearance and total stay cost.
  5. Drive directly to the selected garage instead of repeatedly circling the convention center entrance.
Driving an SUV, van or vehicle with a roof box? Level 2 has a lower published clearance than Level 1. Verify your complete vehicle height, including racks or accessories, before entering. Never assume the taller entrance clearance applies to every level.

Traveling by Bicycle

The venue lists bicycle racks on Garage Level 1 and exterior options along Fort Duquesne Boulevard. Bring your own lock and use permitted access paths.

  • Food allergies: Ask the event’s catering contact about arrangements before arrival.
  • Multi-day event: Consider breakfast availability, hotel parking and early session times when booking accommodation.

For Exhibitors and Event Planners

If you are exhibiting or booking a meeting, attendee parking and directions are only part of your plan. Freight, loading docks, internet connections, catering and move-in access follow separate procedures.

Food and beverageCoordinate dietary needs, schedules and catering requirements with the authorized venue catering team.
Event rentalReview the published year-specific rate schedule; equipment, labor and services may be charged separately.
